| So, it was my BFF's birthday...and she wanted to do disneyland. So I put a lung and a kidney on the black market and made it happen. It was me, my mom, my BFF and her hubby. We had the best time on a budget of course. But, I missed my chihuahua too much to spend anymore time in Cali. We also got to see my favorite cousin Angela, and her two babies. Which has been way too long. All in all I remember why I love Cali so much...And would love to call it home again. Christmas is coming, and I'm trying to remember the reason for the season. But, with the kids soooo into things, into possessions and the latest toys, it's been hard. I can't wait to be out on my own again, my own happiest place on earth...woo hoo the new year can't come soon enough! I just realized I tagged this My weekend at the happiest place on earth and didn't tell you about my weekend!! We started a little late, but as I was a passenger on that ride it was cool with me.We ended up spending the night with Ang and Derek in their totally adorable townhouse, man Cali is calling to me...we got to see the babies again, and my birthday partner is too cute!! So we got on our way after crusing a little along PCH and stopping to eat...we got to Disneyland around noon and the first ride we got on was the crazy train, my mom and bff thought I would be scared but I loved it...Disney's coasters are just my size, I don't think you'll catch me at Magic Mountain any time soon :) We hit Space Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, POTC where Cap'n Sparrow made lot's of cameos, oooh and I got on the Indiana Jones ride for the first time!! Fun, but I think I got a little whiplashed. I had my frozen chocolate covered banana and a churro like always, but the cocoa man eluded me. OH MY GOSH!!! I ALMOST FORGOT! I got to take a picture with Mickey AND Minnie!!!! After Decades of being let down I finally saw him! And I got a hug from them, it was the little Fifi's dream come true! We had a great time and it was just too short, but next time Ladybug comes with! Countdown to Christmas!!!! 13 DAYS LEFT!!! Did I mention that I haven't done any shopping yet? But, I have an attitude of gratitude and I'm just enjoying this season and I know my family will love me no matter what I get them, Ladybug on the other hand has to be shown love with doggy treats and new dresses...she is what spoiled looks like!! OH WELL, LOVEYOU!!!!!! | | |

Secret Santa... So, happy belated thanksgiving...hope you had a great time with the fam :) I think- -no I know, I am going crazy with my sis Banna. She is a party animal, like seriously...she went out Tuesday-Saturday, which is pretty normal for her, but this was my mom's first major holiday home, and of course instead of relaxing with us, she thought it was more important to skip out and go out with her skank friends. Seeing as I went over the deep end this summer, I made a very wise choice to abstain from liquor and smokes. So now my only vice is shopping, the sims, and cutting my hair way too short. I do make an effort to do something with my mom every Friday, we meet up, catch a movie, get a bite to eat...maybe we'll hit up the purple turtle to have some breaded mushrooms and french fries and my mom will sing a couple of songs. Now these times are nice, but thinking about doing that and more every night of my weekend??? CRAZY! Saturday we had our secret santa party, we had a pretty good time...Rick taught us a new card game, which I totally suck at...lol. Jovanna was there long enough to get a name and then quickly bounced, on her way to fabulous cocktails, and the less then fabulous bar flies she hangs out with. Well, I'm done gushing...love to you...smooches Fifi
| I didn't vote for Obama, yes I'm a democrat, but I still voted for Hillary. I liked her views on public health care, the fact that she's pro-choice ,and that she doesn't muddle the lines between church and state. Palin was a hypocrite and I'm sort of glad McCain picked her as his running mate since she doomed his campaign from the start with her hypocritical views on abortion. I want a president that will stand tall for all the citizens of this country, black, white, hispanic, gay, lesbian, what have you. I find it frightening that all these things are going on around me, the price of food is rising even though gas prices are so low. Obama just weirds me out, the way he wants to "make friends" with his former running mates, going so far as to consider Hillary Clinton secretary of state. It bothers me only because when I was a little girl, I was barraged with the stories of the Anti-christ, and how he will have such mass appeal, and seem outwardly to want to create peace, and unity. It all seems to hit a little to close to home, now I'm not saying Obama is the anti-christ, but I have a really bad feeling about his presidency. Call me crazy, I do take the crazy pills :) | | |

Ladybug 11/2008 on the drive to work so, let me recap on the last year. I got laid off, barely made it through Christmas, got a great new job, my new super turned out to be a FREAKING NUT JOB. And eventually drove me to quit, then like a month and a half later she jumped ship like a ghost in the night. I went off the deep end and did some stupid stuff, but now I'm working for Vital Records, talking to a few guys, trying to stay true to myself, and eager to get back to church. My chihuahua Lady is ready to be bred, and I'm so excited about being having granddogs. The holidays are on their way YAAAAY!!!! And tonight when I go home we'll be pulling out all the trimmings to make our house ready for Christmas (not "The holidays", but Christmas, jeeze I hate to see that...I even remarked on it to the little smarmy shopgirl at Old Navy. They had really cute onesies, but they all said either Happy Holidays, or Happy New Year's. me-"wow, Old Navy sure is PC now aren't you? SSG (smarmy shopgirl)- "what do you mean" me-"well, all of these say happy holidays." SSG-"well if they weren't "PC" what would they say?" me-"well they would say Merry Christmas at least some of them." SSG-smacking and snearing lips, making bratty 18 year old faces...I wanted to put her in time out!! so even Old Navy is towing the politically correct line, which is totally BS.
| So, I was called out for not updating my Xanga regularly enough...let me update you, the adoption didn't go through (still getting over that-can't talk about it yet), and the man has crushed my fragile dreams of health insurance and a steady paycheck by laying me off...no luck yet on the job front, but my apartment is coming along nicely. talk soon, love you... Fifi xoxoxoxoxoxo for anyone fighting the good fight with those crazy fires in cali, god bless, take care, you are in my prayers. | | |
